Guest sentiment
A snapshot of what local diners frequently mention about this location.
"The french galette is made from buckwheat. Is good as savoury dish and it is gluten free. Good for me that is watching my weights. Of coz, I end it with some sweets for a complete meal. We chose the chocolate banana crepes, lightly caramelised banana with chocolate drizzles and pecan nuts. It was just nice on the sweetness to my liking."
"This morning's cloudy sky sent a need to brighten up. So for brunch we opted for some uplifting food... So we left for our usual "Croquez le Bonheur" or a bite of happiness, at BREIZH, for French galette....and good coffee. Our usual friendly host Michelle and Barista Song were happy to see us..."
"Fantastic food, highly recommended. I will be coming back. (I went back) Both the savoury galettes and sweet crepes with their mix of crispy and moist textures accompanied by well prepared elements make every bite incredibly exciting. P.S. leek fondue is"
"A cozy and relaxing cafe specialising French galette and crepes. Services were good. Staff were polite and friendly. Ordered Royale Galette and Banana Chocolate Crepe. The Galette was quite nice. Balanced taste with high quality ingredients. Good texture except the egg which was overcooked and hardened. Chocolate banana crepe was delicious. The crepe was soft and the banana was caramelised nicely. Good ingredients used for it as well. Breizh coffee wad good. Balanced taste between the cream and coffee. Americano was okay."
"First time at this Galette/Crepe cafe and we had a very tasty Galette with mushrooms, cherry tomatoes, spinach, Emmental cheese, and ham! The Hojicha and Matcha lattes were great as well. The environment is conducive for work or light reading with nice music playing in the background. The interior of the cafe reminds me of cafes that can be found in Europe!"
"Such a lovely little crepe spot. The shop is small but cozy, and they were kind enough to accommodate my reservation for 5 pax. The food was good, portions looked small at first, but surprisingly filling. We tried both the savoury and sweet crepes, and both were equally delicious. Definitely a place worth visiting :)"
"Back from a trip to France, we’ve been searching for French culinary in KL and found this gem in TTDI. Our first time trying out galette and love that it’s made of buckwheat flour, thin and savoury with lots of options. We went for jamon and added a side of salad as recommended by the staff. Absolutely fulfilling weekend tea time. Latte art was gorgeous, coffee was great. The interior design is beautiful, with a very relaxing feel. The lady who served us was friendly and cheerful. Highly recommended and will definitely return."
"Had an lunch here one afternoon while looking for Kompassion down the road. Thought try something different. We ordered 2 of the savoury Galettes for meal, made with gluten free buckwheat flour. Both were good, but the breakfast one was more filling for me, plus I liked the scrambled eggs. We finished with a crepe suzette, flambeed tableside. Nice and citrus full. The alcohol comes across a little bitter, not purely Grand Marnier? But quite nice. The cider and coffee were very good too. The cider is very expensive for it's portion."
